Cash discount program

Keep the same profit on card payments as cash

Edge applies a cash price and a card price to everything you sell, so a card sale nets the same profit as a cash sale. It's a PayAnywhere / North American Bancard program, set up with the disclosures your state requires.

How it works

One low rate, two posted prices.

Edge combines flat-rate pricing with a cash discount: every item carries a cash price and a slightly higher card price, so the price difference — not your margin — covers the processing cost. Setup follows your state's rules on pricing communication, and the required disclosure signage comes with the program.

FAQ

Common questions

Is a cash discount program legal and compliant?
Yes, when it's disclosed the way the program requires: a posted cash price and card price on every item, plus door and register signage, configured to follow your state's pricing-communication law.
Does this eliminate my credit card processing fees?
No — fees don't disappear. Edge shifts the cost into the posted card price so a card sale keeps the same profit as a cash sale. We won't call it free processing because it isn't.
Will my savings be guaranteed?
No guaranteed number — every business's mix of cash and card sales is different. Send a recent statement and we'll show the actual comparison.
What does the required signage look like?
Door and register stickers stating that displayed prices are cash prices and that a service fee applies to electronic payments. It's included in the program, not something you design yourself.
